To install your ROMulator in a safe, convenient location inside the ECU 1. Take apart your ROMulator case:

2. Remvoe the ROMualtor itself and plug into socket:

3. Postion ROMulator board in ECU as shown:

4. Carefully bend the edge of the case up:

You will now no longer have the problem of "Where the heck do I put this box under my dash?".

It will fit inside the case with the 88-89NA ecu (not turbo), but barely. You have to leave the case cover screws slightly loose, but it seems to stay snugly in place. I suppose you could shim the cover outwards with washers and use longer screws. Obviously it won't fit in the turbo ECU as easily because of the daughterboard for the detonation sensor. You also have to make sure the pins on the bottom of the board don't short on the cover, and that nothing on the two boards comes into contact, besides the obvious. Also, a way to actually mount it in position could be fashoned and the ribbon cable shortened.
