VG30ET Exhaust Manifolds

The ideal turbo exhaust manifold or header provides no flow restriction, has equal length primaries feeding into a the turbine housing. There are many shapes of turbine mounting flanges, but the most commonly desired is a "T4" flange. Here are the stock Nissan made VG30ET exhaust manifolds, as well as some custom made ones.

Nissan-made VG30ET Exhaust Manifolds

 

  • This is a stock cast-iron exhaust manifold from the VG30ET with a basic t3/t4 turbo.

  • The manifolds compact design is still quite good for an OEM application.

  • Fitment issues arise when using aftermarket turbine housings and large compressors.

  • When ported, flow has been shown to be sufficient for 700+hp.

 

Custom VG30ET Exhaust Manifolds

 

  • This is a ported stock cast-iron exhaust manifold from the VG30ET.

  • A T4 adapter plate has been fitted to allow installation of a turbocharger using a T4 turbine housing flange (hence a "full" T4 instead of a hybrid)as opposed to the stock T3 flange.

  • Alternative is to buy a T4 turbine housing that has a T3 inlet flange shape.

  • This is a TRUST manifold, turbocharger and wastegate setup; long since discontinued.

  • Note the variable geometry turbocharger, high-flow crossover pipe and external wastegate that is configured to dump from both banks of cylinders.

  • Turbo specs unknown.

  • I believe this is one of the HKS manifold and turbocharger setups.

  • A TRUST tubular manifold system with turbocharger and wastegate. Specs unknown.
