Custom Charge Air Cooler (Intercooler) Setups:

There are so many pictures on this page that it will probably take some time to load. These are pictures all custom intercooler setups contributed by members on the Z31Performance.com message board. No two systems are the same!

Intercooler Setups
  • 87-85turbo (Andray Hobbs)
  • 24"x12"x4" ic 3"in
  • 2.25" from turbo to IC and 2.5" from IC to TB  
  • Note: Retains factory engine-driven cooling fan, but not inner shroud.

  • Mastersorbet
  • 13"x 7"x 3.25", 2.25" inlet/outlet. Intercooler assembly is from and older model Audi turbo. 
  • Piping is 2.25" mandrel bent aluminum 6061 and the silicon ducts are from Volvo turbo.
  • Note: Retains factory A/C and engine-driven cooling fan.
