Jason's 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo
Summer daily driver which started its life with me as a bone stock 1984 300ZX non-turbo 2+2.

It's now anything but stock, but still not quite where I want it to be. Producing over 1.1G's on a 100 foot skidpad and making 453RWHP with 20PSI boost on 93 octane, it's not exactly bad... but it can only get better from here.

  • Modified LP Performance intake plenum with custom made entry elbow and 60mm throttle body.
  • K&N 9" cone filter.
  • Bell Intercoolers intercooler assembly with my own custom made 2.25" piping, silicone couplers and t-bolt clamps.
  • APEX'i blow off valve
  • Home-ported cylinder heads,194CFM intake and 132CFM exhaust peak flow at 28" H2O
  • Ferrea "super-flo" stainless steel valves, backcut on both intake and exhaust.
  • Performance 3 angle valve seat grind, seats blended into ports
  • JWT single 68lb valve springs shimed to 74lbs.
  • Schneider Racing 270-62H grind: 270 degree. .440" intake/ 262 degree .420" exhaust, 114 degree LSA, degreed and adjusted 2 degrees advanced.
  • Victor-Reinz head gaskets, OEM head bolts torqued to 50ft/lb
  • Russ's adjustable cam gears set to +2 degrees cam timing.
  • Unorthodox Racing underdrive crankshaft pulley.
  • Fidanza 11lb Aluminum flywheel.
